“The Cutie With the Bootie”

Kita spent much of her youth following her salsa  instructor  mother to latin dance venues around the city.  It was here  that she  discovered her love of dance, and learned from a very young  age the  transcendant qualities of music and rhythm.  As a  teenager she would  discover a love of costuming and retro pinup, which  lead her to pursue a  degree in Fashion Design.   She now combines those  three passions on  stage as the co producer and costumer of the  Rhinestone Follies.

You may  have seen Kita at venues like Le Poisson  Rouge, Coney Island, The  Slipper Room, City Winery and The Bell House,  and in shows including  Wasabassco Burlesque, Psychobilly Luau and the  2010 New York Burlesque  Festival.
